It’s been our long-standing policy to not charge for delivery whatever the order value. However, the last couple of years has seen a fall in average order values, which, tied in with the increase in transport and associated costs requires us to implement a small delivery charge for low-value orders.

From Monday 13th March, there will be a small delivery charge of £5.95 for any order under £40.00. Orders over that value will still be delivered free of charge. The majority of orders we receive are still over this amount so the impact should be minimal to most clients.

Additionally, we advocate clients consolidate their deliveries as much as possible as it’s more beneficial administratively, has a lower impact on the environment, and contributes to less traffic congestion.

As part of making this decision, we have researched our market and established this represents good value and is in line with the lower thresholds offered in the industry.
