The season of goodwill

2 min

It’s the season for giving, the season of goodwill and although it’s been a tough year for many, it’s an even better time to give where it’s most needed. 2020 has been tough and turbulent in a variety of different ways – we don’t need to remind you – but it creates a great opportunity to look further and support those in greater need.

At MBM Omega, we are proud to declare our support for a variety of charitable causes and wanted to use this opportunity to tell you more about them and why we are passionate about these charities in particular.

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity

The Rainbow Trust is there to support families living with serious childhood illness. With near 90,000 children in England living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, thousands of families face the reality of their child struggling on a day-to-day basis.

The Rainbow Trust pairs each family with a Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of their time together, giving them practical and emotional support, whenever they need it, for as long as it is needed. They support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents. Support can include: listening to fears and anxieties and explaining illnesses, diagnoses and treatments.

Donations to the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity goes towards: family support, sibling support, home support, hospital support and bereavement support for families with serious illness. From emotional support to attending hospital appointments, they ensure these families are never alone in a tough time.

The Rainbow Trust continues to support more and more families and we’re delighted to support in continuing their fantastic work. You can donate to them here: https://www.rainbowtrust.org.uk/donate

Surrey Wildlife Trust

Surrey Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK. With the invaluable support of volunteers and members they manage over 6,500 hectares of land for wildlife and people in Surrey. They also work with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county and inspire local communities and young people to care for wildlife where they live.

Surrey Wildlife Trust’s work inspiring people to love nature has never been more important. If we are to protect nature in the future, we have to put people at the heart of it. Wildlife doesn’t have a voice, but the work the Surrey Wildlife Trust undertakes ensures they fight for and protect nature with the help of its members and volunteers.

Our support

Through a blend of fundraising events and product donations we are proud to support these charities and would be delighted if you could share in the season of goodwill by supporting one of these or a charity of your choice.
