MBM Omega Open Day Review

We had a fantastic turnout to our Open Day which was held on 12 March 2015 at the Euston showroom of our interiors partner, Senator. Guests were greeted by two of our apprentices and then invited to sample dishes from our business catering menu and discuss our comprehensive range of business services and office products.

An extensive and delicious buffet showcased the many different menus on offer. Dishes ranged from freshly prepared sushi, canapes, dips, salads, bowl food, snacks, sandwiches and rolls through to mouth watering desert platters.

For organisations eager to boost their green credentials there was a display of MBM Omega’s eco-promotional products and the launch of our 2015 catalogue. Many companies were keen to see how they could actively support their commitment to the environment and the thoughtful, ethical range of gifts showed how this could be done in a tangible and innovative way.

The ST3Di range of 3D printers and consumables was an instant hit. Guests were able to discuss the variety of applications and easily identify the benefits this innovative technology could offer to their organisations. The uses are endless, ranging from creative one-off models and unique ideas for promotions, through to fully functioning prototypes and groundbreaking medical applications. This cutting-edge technology is open to all business sectors and 3D printers are now within the budget of most companies.

Hot drinks from our range of office coffee machines proved very popular. Guests were able to choose between coffee made from fresh and locally roasted coffee beans or from a colourful range of teas. The portfolio of machines has been carefully selected to suit the requirements of London offices, taking into consideration design, reliability, the quality of the drink and great service.

The main focus of the event was a tour of the extensive office interiors showroom. As well as the opportunity to see and try the furniture first-hand, experts were available to discuss all aspects of the different ranges and discuss specific projects and requirements. Senator is the largest manufacturer of office furniture in the UK and the leading investor in research and design. They have been in business for over 30 years and hold strong environmental credentials along with a clear commitment to quality. We have partnered with Senator for a number of years and the range combines excellent value for money with a wide choice of furniture to suit all budgets.

It was not possible to showcase every product and service, so MBM Omega personnel were on hand to discuss the different options. Products range from facilities, office and studio supplies through to office interiors, promotional products and technology. Services include business catering, document management, recycling, drinks, fresh flowers & office plants, MPS, printing, recruitment, telecommunications, utilities, vending and washroom services.

“We wanted to show our clients that we provide far more than the standard range of office products and services,” said James Morton, Managing Director. “We offer our clients an opportunity to consolidate their supply chains, removing cost from their procurement activities across a wide range of business services – all from carefully selected products and tried and tested sources. The Open Day was an ideal opportunity to demonstrate this first hand.”
