The company scored well above the average index rating in all three of the index’s categories, with a 86% economic score, a 95% environmental score and an 88% social score, compared to an average 65%, 62% and 74% respectively for all CIPS listed suppliers of the same size and sector.
Managing Director James Morton was delighted with the recent results of the CIPS index. He comments:
“Maintaining and extending our high score and being rated against independent criteria demonstrates our commitment to ensure sustainability becomes embedded into the company. It recognises the hard work that goes on within all areas of our business and our hope is to continuously find ways to improve our performance year on year.”
The CIPS Sustainability Index is an independent assessment of the social, economic and environmental impacts of MBM Omega’s operations. Using the index enables suppliers to assess their sustainability effectiveness and identify areas of improvement.
